…in my heart

1 My son, do not forget my teaching,
but keep my commands in your heart,
2 for they will prolong your life many years

and bring you prosperity.
3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you;

bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.

Proverbs 3:1-4

The Holy Spirit abides in us as we abide in Him. Our heart is filled with the Spirit until it overflows creating the true reflection of the Lord so that all may see. In us is a desire for a relationship with God. There is not one man who can tarnish that desire, for it is plainly said in Scripture that Jesus is our Advocate to the Father (1 John 2:1). None other.

All wisdom is in God. Read the Bible and do not forget what He is saying and how the Spirit in our heart helps understand the meaning and context. We are not all teachers – I am not a teacher – but I can plainly understand that God desires us to remember His word and to keep His commands in our heart. For relying on His commands in our heart makes us be aware of the Spirit inside. It makes us listen intently for the Spirit within.

I desire spiritual prosperity for spiritual prosperity will outlast material prosperity. Love and faithfulness are written on a tablet in our heart. This is my verse of how I understand my relationship with God. Our guidance in from the Spirit within, our wisdom is from God above, our representation to God is through the blood of Jesus Christ, resurrected. It is in our sincerity in our relationship with God that helps assure us we are on His path.

I will try to be sincere. For I mean not to deceive but to confess before man and God that I believe His commands are written on my heart and I will try and listen. I will be humble in adversity and strong in my passion to know the Lord. I am only a man but God is there with me and with you and we have hope. That is the best I can do.

I pray these verses bless you this morning as they have blessed me. I pray your day is a day that will glorify God. Pray and strengthen your relationship with Him. I will, as well. Peace to all.
