filling
lulling
fulfilling
luring to places
far away
to be lost
in this
symphony
that captures
my senses
and allows me to
float along
with strings
and reeds
and soft keys
bidding eyes to close
sudden awakening by
the reprimanding
pierce of a horn
held secure
by the bass clef
and to know
the things
I love
are revealed in
a melody
beautiful
and full of life
manifest in me now
and ever a part

Walk in faith
Crossing seas
To meet Love
With eyes fixed
And mind set
On doing right
By the hand of God
In whom I rest
A tired heart
And weary soul
Earnestly seeking
Vigilant in His way
Bracing against
Icy winds from somewhere
With eroding attempts
In its own earnest that cannot
Pierce a resolute stance
Immovable and steadfast
Neither wind can blow
Nor sea may swallow
A heart focused
On Eternal Love.

protected always
caressing breezes
O gentle love
peering through windowed
paths to your soul
seeking smiles
in rose blush
making me whole
in warming hearts
hidden in eternity
wary of all things
subject to no thing
save His light
and drowning in your arms
like blissful dream.
it is love’s deeper side
carried on a kiss.
