Van Gogh

Clouds and obscurity –
these visions of silver linings
and all things that are
yet to be.

Take me to deeper places
and give me eyes of clarity
from which to see you
and know as you know.

Let my heart break
for the ones bound
without hope – entrusting vanity
on deceptive plains.

Give me greener days
with hallowed essence
and dreams coming true
in graceful melodic moment.

This is my time to wander –
to seek patient virtue
and find the narrow road
to heaven above.
