clear and greener are the paths
that join with azure
ceiling splash with a
two-toned horizon of dissected hues,
one line – separating
spirit and body.
setting sun encourages moon-
warming source
leaves far too soon.
the lesser looks askance –
spying in a night-glance
where sad hearts cry.
I wonder as a melody fills
my infiltrating slumber
like a silent serpentine rill.
where upon my soul is heaven cast?
help me in my plea
for fervent trust
and a love that shall
ever last.
